What is your game?
Is the game, "he who has the most stuff wins"
Is the game, "he who finds enlightenment wins"
Is the game, "he who experiences the most wins"
Is the game, "he who loves and is loved wins"
While these games are not mutually exclusive it is very difficult to win all of them at once.
I would say that I have "won" what I want; a roof over my head, a sense of purpose in both my life and my career, a significant amount of travel and new experiences, and by far the most important, the love and respect of a woman that I in turn love and respect.
So yes, I've "won" my game so far, what is your game?

If life is a game then people like the Bill Gates and Trumps, Bransons, Mandelas are winners right? Those are gamemasters. I am in no position to say Im a winner nor loser right now cos this game takes even longer than chess to play. Sometimes I think I am a loser but in other aspects of my life I say Im a wnner. Rather equip yourself with much knowledge as possible so that when its time to make that crucial move, you'll have the necessary skills to do so.E.g If Nelson Mandela retaliated after being released from prison he would be a damn loser like Saddam Hussein.(Thats just an example)

IF life is a game, I am a skilled gamester.
REASONS:
1. I just feel like a winner, because I am a winner, and I do win. I've won in sports, lotteries, arguments, video games, and other contests.
2. Japanese saying or proverb: Fall down 7 times, stand up on the eighth.
3. If you've mastered losing, the only thing left to do is win. Anonymous
This list goes on, forever I think, filled with inspirational quotes, examples and reasons, confirming my notion that I am indeed a "skilled gamester". I even win 10 points from time to time!!!!

Skill gamesters are not born this way. For anyone to become a skilled gamester they have been a naive loser.
Viewing life as a game or competition can usually be sourced in the human condition of jealousy. I have no reason to compete with anyone, so I would say that I don't play the game.
If you want to win the game that badly, I'll probably let you win. I'm fine with someone labeling me the "loser" in the game.

Life is like a big game with several smaller games inside it. You cannot be a skilled gamester at all the games that life throws up. Most people specialize and excel in some. But you will always be a fool in some life game except you devote time and study it. But you just cannot excel in all the games in one lifetime. Being an expert in the survival game suffices for most people. I am adept at a few life games but a novice in others.

I am a naive loser. Personally, I am not that manipulative to play games. I know I am going to lose in the first move. I always take people at the face value & I don't think I can ever give counter attack to moves the others make.
Thank goodness, life is not a game.
Hi Adhyas, where are you? Haven't heard from you since March. Mine Orkut is not working. Try e-mailing if you have my id else take it from star.

We are all pawns in the elaborate skeems of those that control 95% of all the wealth and resources in the world. They bombard us with an unending amount of media, visual and auditory stimuli laced with subliminal messages to encourage us to consume and buy. Sometimes we win sometimes we lose but our freedom is an illusion. No naive loser here. An aspiring games master.

You can be either at different times. Thats just the game thats played. I am a skilled gamester right now but I know that there are times when I will be a loser.

Life only becomes a game, when we decide that it is, indeed, a game.
Life, itself, is unpredictable, so one can never be sure of what he is and what he will be, given the circumstances of life. You cannot be a loser or a gamester all your life. Life changes, so you, change as well.
I, personally, have become both. And there is no question about it, because of the dual nature of life.

I hope I am fair and honest (not a naive loser). The correct term for 'skilled gamester' is 'low life'.
