Endless is an english word which refeers to the concept of being "without limit". An example of what endless actually means is as follows, " ...the face of the deep upon the waters ". Of course the bible will tell us in Gen 1 in "...the beginning there was darkness" before there was light, so perhaps it could be agreed that the most endless thing is darkness or the absence of light.

Infinity is endless. But endless is a relative term. It can have a beginning, but in the case of God, what has no beginning can have no end. Spirit is considered to be endless because it is not physical, does not decay or die and is immune to the laws of entropy.

This is a question with no answer because the human mind cannot understand infinity, cannot understand "endless."

The reason for this? Who knows, maybe G-d's desire to protect us.
