I understand that there was a time when if a man was naturlized his wife and children were automatically naturilized. One of my gggrandfather's died in a yellow fever epidemic shortly after arriving in this country. Information indicates they came in through the Port of New Orleans in 1853.. If my gggrandmother remarried someone who was already a citizen would she at that time be considered a citizen?

My Great Aunt (Hilda Robbins before she married, born in South London) emigrated to NZ about 60 years ago.. She passed away there but had children who I know were researching the family tree and I'd like to find them. Trouble is, I don't know Hilda's married name! What's the best New Zealand website to post a family tree and/or seeking someone message please? Thank you.

I'm trying to find more information on why the Irish had such a hatred towards Britain for so long. I know there were many instances, and I'm happy to get any information I can, but I'm especially interested in the ealier "feuds" rather than the latter. But like I said any and all pertinent information is helpful!

Only half of my newspaper was delivered today. The boring half. I have 3 options:
1 - Walk to the nearest newsagent and buy the entire paper.
2 - Catch a bus to the newsagent responsible for deliveries and ask for the other half of the paper.
3 - Only read half of the paper. Forget about the rest.

If not why? We should have one method at least that every person in the world can communicate with.

I know you have no reason to answer me, but since this is completely anonymous, what could it hurt? If you lie, then you obviously are devoid of character.

I get so extremely sick when I think about what happened to me in the past. When I see the same people from my past, it triggers depression and anxiety. So this has been going on for years. I've been to counselors and psychologist, but it comes back and it is worse than ever. I've tried meditation, running, distract myself with positive things, but the feeling is disabling. Help. I forgive, but so many people are linked to that memory. it's horrifying. Someone please...

What about all the others persecuted? Do the museums cover them? Isn't Hiroshima or Nagasaki a more accurate description of Holocaust, a completely burned sacrifice?

Can I ask who was sacrificing the jews?
And who were they being sacrificed to? or for?

Personally, I think the word "Shoah" makes more sense.

Opinions? Comments? Corrections?
