Hell why not. I married young at 19. We've survived me deploying to Iraq three times. Shes an amazing women. Being so different attracted me to her then. But now at 24 I feel trapped. I don't love her like I did. Its selfish I know but I'm not happy at all with being with her. My secret is that I told her I'd try again once I got back but really I'm only delaying my almost for sure decision of leaving her to find happiness elsewhere.
I feel horrible about it. But am I so selfish to want to be happy even if it means I have to break someone elses heart in the quest for such an idea? Guess I'll find out.

My deepest darkest secret is that in 1958 I feel deeply in love with a man who later, in 1960, left to return to Idaho to finish College. I told him then and still believe today that he was the one man meant for me in this life; my life partner. And if he left I would never again find anyone I loved the way I loved him. Deeply and devoutly. It is true. I never have. To this day, when I think of him tears well up in my eyes. I long to know that he has live a wonderful, meaningful, loving and happy life with whoever he found to share it with. But, I would never dream of bothering him or his family, even though I know where he lives.
My dark secret is I married a man who loved me, and I cared for him very much, but I never loved him in my heart. But I made as good a wife as I possibly could and raised our family the best way I could. But I have always felt guilty about it, knowing I have always loved the other man. I am a widow and it still haunts me.

Unfortunately, you used a logical fallacy in the final part of your question.
I would lie if someone wanted to hurt you to protect you. However, you stated to lie to lack character. So, if I were to lie to protect you then, I would lack character.
Therefore, I shall tell the truth to anyone who wants to hurt you and have character.

during school, one of my teachers told me and two other people to go down to the floor below and copy our spanish papers, so we did. we got to the copy machines ( there was 2) and tried to copy, but it wasn't working. turns out we broke the machines...... so we ran back upstairs so we didn't get caught!
