When people rate others answers what criteria do you use ? Some answers are plainly silly but I dont think an answer is automaticly bad just beacuse you don't agree with it I think people should try to be more objective?

It is only the persons with highest detachament (selfless intention) who can save the humanity. None of the people in places of 'power' currently can save others.

Buddah was a king himself therewas no need for him.

Christ was a shephard who took a selfless stand.

Shankaracharya was the person who wanted ill motivated desires to be burnt of human being's mind.

Hi.

I am looking for some primary sources which infer that the treatment of Convicts was too harsh in Australia's early days.

Thank You. :D

Does that mean parental love is transcendental and far more superior than the romantic love? We hardly see parents and children breaking up no matter how much hardship the relationship has gone through but lovers and spouses breaking up for trivial reasons is a commonplace example.

We all have something that really changed our life. For me it was a book I recently read called "Still life with Woodpecker" by Tom Robbins. My mind is like a sponge waiting for new inspiration. What inspired you? What made you change your view of life/religion/time/space? It can be anything? A conversation, a poem, a book, a movie...I would rather spend my time acquiring life changing knowledge than read a magazine or watch a soap opera. So I guess I'm just really asking for some things to add to my to do list for 2007? The "Open my mind" list if you can call it that. Anything deep/moving will be appreciated. Even a one liner that made you think about something you had never thought about? Thanx guys.

I will make it clear... I am not talking about how humans formed a gorvernment or a society.. what I am asking is why do we humans call ourselves civilized? and that we compare our superiority to our early cave mans and animals as being uncivilized and wild. But then here we are acting the same way as any cave mans and animals would do. Kill and eat, hunt and gather food. Same way in modern times we work to eat and live comfortably. Cave mans and animals fight for their terretory. Just in modern times we fight for power and wealth....so I am saying we are no different then cavemans and animals....so whats the use of calling ourself civilized when we are no different than animals..are we still WILD?
When can we truely call ourself civilized?

The only problem with Sadness,
Desperateness,Anger,Hopelessness,
Anxiety,Anguish,Misery is that
we wants to get rib of them.
That's the only barrier.
We wil have to live with them......
They are the very situations in which
Life has to itegrate and grow...
Think abou that and tell more about
"Sadness"

I've nothing at all against ethnic history. But a whole month of questions about the history of one particular ethnic group gets boring. Why not "Everybody except White history month"? I'd enjoy a bit of variety.
