No! Your an idiot.. Art can not be used to justify evil. Art is open to interpretation, and if you don't like that particular piece of art work than don't look at it. Very easy.

Morality is thematic or it is a light dark thing.
Emotion is a color thing, a reflective expression thing.
They are qualities to a piece of art.
The question is who wants those qualities to be in that art , the artist or the patron?
Never assume it is the artist's desire to put things in a work of art. This is a job like any other job.
And, yes, you can use art to justify evil if that is your intention. That is the thought behind the book "The DaVinci Code" that DaVinci painted images that where evil in paintings that were supposed to be sacred.
Many of the artists used prostitutes for models.
Let's face it nudes in general are accepable forms of voyeurism.

Artists are people the same as anyone and else and one may be attracted more to morality than to emotions. It may also depend on what they are trying to convey in their art as to which way they go. Look at the differences between the Renaissance artists and the pre-Renaissance, then compare them to the Romantics.......you'll see what I mean.
As for whether art can be used to justify evil - of course not. Nothing justifies evil.

Art can actually be anything you want it to be. Its completely subjective.
So in answer, its hard to say which is more appealing... either can be depending on the preferences of the artist or viewer.
And as it is subjective, yes it can be used to justify anything, evil included.

I would say emotions. Art can justify just about anything. If the artists intentions are evil, then they will create a work of art which represents their intentions.

Considering everything stems from emotions my answer is 'emotion'. Even morality is backed up to some degree with an emotion....could be fear, love, anger etc..
Also, art can undoubtedly depict evil but it can't "justify" it.

i think art can be used to *show* evil, not justify it. art should have the obligation to stir a soul, inspire him/her to walk the correct path for him/her.
