I am very excited about the upcoming show on Showtime rightfully dubbed "The Tudors." However, I wanted to get a little more information on this show so I went to www.imdb.com. I was looking at the cast of characters when I saw a name I didn't recognize being that of a Anna Buckingham. I am currently reading The Six Wives of Henry VIII by Alison Weir and I certainly haven't come across a historical figure yet by that name. Is there something I'm missing? Who WAS this girl?

Sadly, I don't. Can anyone give me a run down in which order I can do things? I remember what we do...just not the order. Thanks.

This is a question that has caused me significant difficulty over the years. As far as I can tell, "rights" to anything are only granted by virtue of a social contract, and do not exist in a fundamental way. However, this conclusion is antithetical to my personal ethics - thus the dilemna. I suppose also that, by extension, one needs to consider the meaning of the word "right" in this context. Thoughtful input would be greatly appreciated.

I remember how united and filled with righteous anger I was after Sept 11. And I wasn't alone. I felt that finally we can put aside our partisan differences and takes care of these A-H O L E S that did this. There was so much Good Will towards this country (from France, even from Iran!)
It was very clear to me as i saw all of this being used as an excuse to go to war, as the chance to end Al-Queda in Tora Bora was passed up, and as the Executive Branch and a Rubber Stamp Congress were exploiting justifiable fear of terrorism that the untiy I felt was going to be short lived.
I can remember the exact moment I knew that this "War on Terror" was going to be run in a way that shattered that unity and goodwill.
It was in 2002. Where and when was it over for you?
