Sadly, I don't. Can anyone give me a run down in which order I can do things? I remember what we do...just not the order. Thanks.

You start off with pleas, then tondues, dégagés, frappés, rond de jambes, then grand battements. This is basic barre work. Teachers add in additonal steps.

I hope this helps you...and I understand what you mean, I was just at a ballet class yesterday and it took a minute or two to remember the order!

Ha. I have been in ballet for 12 years too. I do that a lot also. i hear the positions my teacher calls out, but i don't know the order. he could call out, "tondu allesecon, devont, rondejaum, tondu devont, passe, fondue, close fifth" but there are several ways to misinterpret that. lol. i look at the other people sometimes. lol OOPS!

I think generally the order is plies, battement tendus, frappes, ronde de jambe at terre then en l'air, developes, grande battements.
I've been dancing for over twenty years - and i still cant get the order right either!

Don't feel bad...I can't remember my password to my computer at work. The only thing saving me is the intense look of concentration I have on my face as I stare at the monitor!!
