the story is about a rich royal family, that lives in the modern world.but still keeps it's past alive.
i want to know if there are any places with beautiful castles and beautiful scenery...but it's pretty close to the modernized city.

10 Downing, a Union Strike, and the Household Cavalry?

I recall reading in a book (I think it was a Churchill biography) about a protest in the early 20th century in which a bunch of striking union workers (maybe coal miners) were marching through London and came to Downing Street. They turned to head to 10 Downing, which was guarded by one sole policemen, and things looked like they would get ugly.

But just then, a few soldiers from the Household Cavalry next door rode over, dismounted, and drew their swords. The protestors yelled a bit but no one dared to advance.

Does anyone know which book this was in (and what page) or have a site that has more details about this event?

Someone please help me? I am hoping to get published and I need your critisism to help me!?

I have been dreaming of getting published for ages, and I have finished writing my novel (Which is a historical fantasy for young adults and teenagers). We all know that the attract the attention of publishers and agencies, the first few pages have to be fantastic! My problem is that I don't know which chapter I should put first for my story!

What is the best way to find a dance partner?
