I have been dreaming of getting published for ages, and I have finished writing my novel (Which is a historical fantasy for young adults and teenagers). We all know that the attract the attention of publishers and agencies, the first few pages have to be fantastic! My problem is that I don't know which chapter I should put first for my story!
I have two chapters which I love equally, but I don't know which one is more gripping and interesting to a reader. I need you guys to help me - you might some day be my readers! You can contact me through my avatar and give me your email address so I can send you the two chapters and you read them. Then, you decide which one grips your attention the most and write back to me explaining everything you think. It will be incredibly helpful, cause you guys can help me make up my mind. You can even possibly make the story better! Help!?

Places you can get good critiques:

http://www.critters.org

http://www.critiquecircle.com

http://www.hatrack.com/forums/writers/cgi/Ultimate.cgi

All three of these sites are composed of fellow readying-to-be-published and already-published writers and readers who will look at your work and give a thoughtful and honest critique, and will help guide you along the path to one day achieving your dream of having your book in print, for readers everywhere to enjoy.
Make sure that you know each site's guidelines for posting excerpts or chapters for critique.

Good luck. (And I hope to see you at Hatrack; I'm DeepDreamer there ^_^)

You've asked this same question about 5 times now! I take it the critiques the other people gave you were not to your liking?

Have you thought about self publishing or making it as an ebook?
I wish you well in any case.

Can we have more information about the book. How many thousand words is it? Have you offered it to publishers? Have you completed it?
