I'm pretty well-read on WWII history and your question gets very complex. I'll try to simplify the matter as best I can!
First...none of them were "friends" in the usual way we think of friends. They were all suspicious and jealous of each other and did not share deep personal secrets with each other. In every case, any "pal-ing" around they did had an ulterior motive...usually to benefit their own political agenda.
Hitler respected Stalin and thought he was a great, well... dictator. He admired the control that Stalin maintained on Russia's citizens and military. Hitler was always suspicious of Stalin's expansion intents and was obsessed with trying to outfox him.
Hitler thought that Mussolini was a simpleton and a fool. By maintaining a "friendliness" toward him though, Hitler was able to exploit Mussolini's political and geographical usefulness.
Stalin knew that Hitler was a conniving liar...Stalin thought this about most people. He was very paranoid. Initially, Stalin humored Hitler as Hitler humored Stalin...as a cover-up of their mutual expansionist goals.
Stalin thought that Mussolini was a Hitler puppet and paid very little attention to him or anything he did.
Mussolini was perpetually awestruck and envious of both Hitler and Stalin. He allowed himself to be Hitler's toady and hoped to reap at least some crumbs off the table from Hitler's successes.
Mussolini wasn’t too worried about Stalin because Hitler had convinced him that Russia would not be a problem for Italy so long as Mussolini remained loyal to the Axis.
In a nutshell...this is how it was. Volume upon volume have been written that would be able to show that their interactions were far more intricate than this.

No, they were not all friends. Mussolini and Hitler did share an afiliation and respect for each other but neither dictator cared much for Stalin at all. The reason why Stalin is considered among them was his stab in the back signing of a non-aggression pact with Hitler. Hitler desired this because he desired to avoid a two front war with the USSR when he would go against France and England and Stalin needed the delay because of his purges and the wasting of his better generals because of his neurotic paranoia and the inexperienced generals needed time to develop and the industrial output needed expansion.

Stalin and Hitler did not have anything in common. Stalin was a communist which is the direct enemy of a national socialist (Nazi). I don't think that Stalin respected Hitler I think that Stalin never respected anyone I beleive that Stalin thought himself to be superior to all people. I know that Stalin knew that Hitler was a dangerous enemy though. I don't know much about the relationship between Mossuolini and Hitler, they would have more in common because both we nationalists. But I could not say.

Stalin and Hitler supposedly met in person once, but it's unsubstantiated. They were most certainly not friends, but they had a peaceful agreement that Hitler later broke. His excursion into Russia to Stalingrad is believed by many, including me, to have greatly contributed to the turnaround of the war. Unfortunately, it cost one million Russians their lives.
As for Mussolini, he was a fellow fascist and an ally in the war. I would imagine mutual respect was there at least, but I'm not sure he and Hitler could be considered friends.
