Peace is an internal state which is not dependent on how the external circumstances turn out. That is, whether you have peace or not should not be dependent on whether everything is going well with you at that point or not. If you swing between being peaceful and not depending on whether you are having a good time or not, then you really don't have lasting peace.

Lasting peace can only be found in God. When you relate to God as a person, and you know God is with you, then you know that you can face any circumstance without losing heart and your peace.

Therefore to find peace, you must know God and have a personal relationship with Him.. and walk with Him minute to minute.

If you're talking about literal peace I suggest that you go into the room in your house that you feel most confortable in. Turn off the radio, unplug the phone, light some scented candles and relax with a comfy pillow, get out your fave book, turn on the fireplace if it's cold, put on your most comfy clothes, close the curtains for some privacy and a little peace of mind. If you're lucky enough to own a jaccuzzi then just relax, unwind, put your feet up, do anything that will make you feel peaceful and forget about the bills and your job and anything that makes you feel stressed. if you're talking about peace on earth then I highly suggest that you try even the smallest act to save the earth from war like give to donation drives. Do a little community service. Not only are you helping the world become a better place, you'll also feel good with that warm and toasty feeling inside that you just helped the world. hope I helped!!

To find the real peace you are looking for, itself means walking through life. It is actually a cool and calm mind you are looking for. The real peace will be yours, the moment you leave life. Yes, peace is on the opposite side of wealth, romance, standard life, confirmed job/business, everything. Will you manage it? Hence, it is not peace but calmness of the mind that you want. Maybe you are fagged of something, or unsatisfied, or then cannot achieve something.
Try meditation. Sit in one straight pose and think of nothing. (It is not as easy) Even that thought of not thinking 'bout anything is a thought. You have to master doing so. But even trying to do so with a painful back will help you spend hours, that you can't pass off.
There's a comic but effective lesson. Remove your frustration on iron in a gym and try to break the iron. I really mean, no mobile talks, relaxed poses with oneself in the mirror. Give out all you got, perspire, have a sauna bath and then a heavy meal. You'll sleep like a log till someone awakens you-promise, no dreams.
Don't booze of smoke like filmy heroes. That's all hambug. You'll dream more.
I remind, it is actually a cool and calm mind you are looking for. Nothing's impossible to achieve.

you will never find peace, unless you have inner peace in your heart and soul, I am sure you will get a lot of comments that you will find peace when you die, but if you are a good person and do good each day and you can lay your head on you pillow at night and know you are honest, then that is when you find peace.

Hi friend.

if you are really eager to find the peace. then find the peace in spiritual world.

being a Muslim I practise my religion and find peace in it self by gods will.

But it's not that only Muslims or Hindu's or Christians or Jews finds peace in religion.

I noticed even Atheist they find peace without practising any religion. How?
by giving peace and happy ness to the poor and needy, giving protection to orphans and widows. By giving Honor to their elders and respect to their mothers and father.

my friend what ever the religionn teaches is for the better of humanity. you just need to follow them either by declaring that you surrender to religion or with revolting not to carry the name tag of religio and continuing to do the same....what? searching for peace...not just happiness.

In your heart..
People run halfway around the world, search up mountains and through jungles. It is only after they have travelled long and far enough, to have lost everyone they were travelling with do they realise they have found peace.. Because they were finally alone and tired enough to listen to their hearts..
Stop talking and listen..

Real peace is found when you stop looking...it is not in a certain place...it can not be found...it comes from within.
