God is evident in every living thing. One finds the knowledge of God through the work and life of Jesus where God is revealed. One finds God in Jesus and develops a relationship with God through that knowledge resulting in finding peace that only comes from God.

God is a concept, not a being. God is a creation, not a creator. Now ask yourself, how can you find a concept, how can you find a creation? It's always been there. The unfortunate thing is God is personified as a being. Once you have a habit of personifying things, then comes the question of existence and non-existence and things become more materialistic. So god is not a thing to find.

Hi,
A very good question indeed.
If you are really sincere in asking this question, then I am sure with a good lot of effort you will realise the answer for yourself, provided you read the scriptures that teach the way to realise Him and do SAADHANA (daily practice of prayer ,meditation etc)
After all,If I ask you where can I find Statue of Liberty(the original one)...what is your answer?in USA ...near New York...something like that.(not see in the dictionary). After all a man made statue ,you say it is there at New York .If you have ,by any chance seen it, then ,we both sitting in Bombay beach,I ask you..please ,as you have seen Statue of Liberty..please show it to me now?
What is your reaction and answer?
You may laugh at my question ..or you may tell me about where it is , and when I persist to show me just now..you tell me there is a way to approach the place..First from where we sitting to some Bus station..then to airport..then purchase tickets, with proper valid Passport and VISA to USA ....reach a port of entry after security check etc again take to some transportation to reach New York..and again reach the place where we can see the Statue of Liberty. To see a small.infinitely small statue compared to our Globe,if there is such a long procedure taking more than 30 hours ,then to find GOD THE OMNIPOTENT ,OMNIPRESENT and OMNISCIENT....what do you think about the procedure to be followed.
If you have seen statue of Liberty and enjoyed the beaty ang magnificence of it ..then you can not transfer your experience to me, however best you try to explain it.You must take me there and show me, and I should willingly come with you all the way.Right?
Similarly ,the Hinhi Rishis and Great saints who have realised GOD and experienced IT,have laid down detailed procedure to reach and realise THE GOD.It may take YEars and Years of perseverance and devotion. But It is PROMISED BEYOND DOUBT THAT YOU WILL REALISE AND EXPERIENCE THE GOD.
So ypu can FIND GOD ,IF you only patiently travel in the path prescribed.
First of all GOD is not a PERSON SITTING SOMEWHERE IN A GOLDEN CHAIR judging all. That cocept is incorect.
The scriptures will go on telling you what GOD IS NOT.This is not God ..This is not GOd like that ...the scriptures eliminate most.almost all the external things etc nd go on proving they are not GOD.They will not say THIS IS GOD.
They will lead you in such a way to make you realise, make you experience what GOD IS.
In that way you can find GOD.But the road is long...it equires patience and perseverance....it takes time..it requires a SADGURU (A competent teacher, who experienced God already).
I wish you goodluck in your noble pursuit.

God is within everybody. You can find God by eating what we offer in the Temples. You can find God by doing God's work. Which means that you must do Good deeds and treat everyone including Animals as God's creation. You can try by doing Pranayam.

Nueroscientists have figured out that the 'religious presence' is triggered when people are near death, nearly starved, severe depression, deep emotional state, under the influence of several psychedelic drugs (eg, peyote), or other highly emotional states. Some people call it the 'born again Christian' phenomena. That part of our brains where our deepest emotions reside, even our belief systems...the limbic system, the last remnants of our reptillian past.
The cerebral cortex, is where our rational thinking part of our brain resides, which is a more recent development....but i digress. Back to your question, find god by letting go of the rational and logical part of your brain and use one of the avenues above to get to that distorted world view that so many are living by...

So far you are finding god you are missing him. God is also finding you and waiting for you to stop your finding. Just give up the finding and he is before you.

You can find yourself inside you. We have the power to differentiate between right and wrong inside us only and it is upto us to decide whether we want to believe in God or not. The first step is from our own side only and then we formulate an opinion of God. Look within yourself and you will find the world inside you only...

Before the microscope was invented man could not find microbes. You cannot find the wind, but are aware of its presence through the external stimuli gathered by the nervous system. You can find and feel the presence of God, only when you have faith in His existence.

In the innocent smile of children, in the satisfied look of the hungry after they are fed, in the happiness you can create for others.
Basically, we need to forget ourselves to find God... as long as our self is active, God remains in the background and the moment we put our self into the background, God's presence becomes obvious!!

If you concentrate with your mind you'll feel the presence of God within you. If you observe carefully you'll hear God in the wind, if you look truly you'll see him in your parents and teachers. God is everywhere. We don't need stones to pray, we can just look in the sky and pray. We cannot see him but can feel him. His presence is like the butter in the milk not seen but is present. Do good deeds and you'll find God in Heaven for sure.
GOD BLESS YOU!!!!
