I like to write historical fiction. tragedy, romances, and teenage epics. Maybe kids on drugs, or that 'get into trouble'. Possibly all together. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance. :D

How about a teen guy likes this girl and thinks she is his true love but she's addicted to every drug there is and she has gotten in trouble tons of times. He tries to save her but she just pulls away and doesn't want to stop drugs. Then they get into a fight and she gets wasted and something bad happens or something like that. The ending is your choice, but if I were you I wouldn't end it happily. Don't have her give up drugs and they get married. Have it end like he gives up on her or she dies or something sad. But even though it is said still make it hopeful. Do you know what I mean?

Under romance; How about a story with a stalker, who gets lucky and finds a gold digger, that does not realize he is a stalker. Thus she thinks he is only being friendly, so she allows him to hang out with her. Later, the gold diggers son from her first marriage dies. After the gold digger had a baby girl. But nobody can figure out how or who got the gold digger pregnant. ETC, Etc, etc.

Take you main charecters and imagine then in some odd places or scenarios – anything goes! Write down ideas on what would have to happen to your character or how they would react to the scenario you placed them in.

This may seem futile, but it will help you flesh out your characters furthur and give you insight into what you may want to happen to this type of character in a potential story. You may even come up with multiple story lines!

Strong well crafted main characters can inspire readers to love your story as well as drive you to write a great story for these imagined beings to be in! :-)
