A few of my favorite ideas are:
"want nothing" "act with nonaction"
"compete with no one and no one can compete with you"
"He who speaks does not know, and he who knows does not speak."

Most of our problems come from our egos, or desires. Even external forces that give us so much hell, can felt less severe and less often if you know that you can't control them. Only when you give up complete control can you obtain it. I know its paradoxical but that's the whole philosophy.
