Okay, I don't exactly know your answer, but I'm going to tell you what I plan to do.

First, there are often reviewers that aren't paid anything, but they receive advanced readers' copies or uncorrected proofs. I have purchased a few of this type of book (they aren't supposed to be sold, but are often donated) and figured I would attempt to make contact through the address and other information on the book itself.

What they say is to send two copies of your review to them. I don't know the specific requirements, and of course, when I need one of these books I can't find them (as in answering your question), but obviously some reviewers aren't doing their part - because I have found some beautiful copies of titles that look completely unread.

If I find anything else, I'll try to post. Good luck on your end!
