I was told that it has something to do with Germany and the war? Has anyone else heard something about this? Is it true?

Does anyone have any quotes from the crucible, supporting the use of dramatic, verbal, and situational irony by Miller?
I have an essay due tomrrow, and everything is written up, except for the direct quotes, and I lost my copy of the play.

I distinctly remember sitting in the back of the car I was about 7 and I saw a house and pretty garden I said to my dad that we had been before, but my parents said we were too far away and my dad explained deja vu. Since then I obviously had it more, but thats the one I remember. What about you?

I am a funny person and I want to start doing stand up comedy. How do you go about writing stand up comedy? How do you put your stuff on paper so its not one of those had to be there jokes. Just about everybody I talk to says I am funny and think I should be a comedian. Do you know of anyway to pull jokes out of daily life and put them into a comedy skit? Know of any websites/things that will give me a better understanding on how to write comedy?

Since an invention is some piece of advanced (advanced meaning not surpassed in capability) technology, won't mankind eventually come to a point when the then existing technology is so advanced that humans experience no need to create new inventions?

I have heard a similar scenario dealing with scientists attempts to mix computers with the human body, thus opening the possibility of a sort of artificial happiness, in which humans could solely create happiness through electrical or chemical processes. This happiness would stop all of mankind's progress because humans wouldn't have to do anything for entertainment and would no longer be challenged, or, at least, wouldn't be concerned with challenges. This would be the point in time in which inventions, things that make life easier, would become obsolete.

I suppose people would think up ways to invent the proverbial "better mouse trap", but it wouldn't be the same as inventing something truly important.

So, what do you think?

Hi,

I'm art directing a low-budget student film in Toronto, Canada, and I'm looking for a solution to creating a fake stone wall on wooden flats in order to create the look of a bedroom in a medieval castle.

A couple possible solutions I've contemplated:

-Painting the wood to look like stone
-Plastering stone shaped sections and then painting them

Is there such thing as a fake stone panel that can be stapled or hammered to flats? If so what might it cost and where might I go to pick them up?

I would appreciate any feedback anyone can give me.

Thanks,
Daniel

Sometimes I get bad feelings about a particular place, like a feeling of discomfort coming over me, and that I don't wanna be there.

Is this to do with ghosts or whatever, or is it like a sixth sense that's telling me that something bad happened there in the past or is going to happen?

And has this sorta thing happened to anyone else?
