The female system has a container for the growing baby (the uterus), a place to hold and dispense eggs which exist for most of the female's life (the ovaries) and a place for the eggs to meet the sperm (the vagina)
The male system has a place to generate and hold sperm (the testicles) which happens throughout the male's life, a place to generate a carrier fluid for the tiny sperm (the prostate) and a shape to enter the female to insert the sperm (the penis.)
