You have food, water, etc. Yes, you can only choose one book. Don't insult one or the other book. I thas to be Hrry Potter 1.

Eragon because ive red the harry potter series a million times and ive started to read Eragon but never finished... but really if i were stuck in a cave i would more likely be wondering what i was dooing there

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Not only do I love Harry Potter, but I've seen the movie. This way, my mind would be doubly engaged, recalling details from the movie. I could also think on the differences between the movie and the book. It's so funny; I actually had to write a timed essay on something just like this for a very prestigious college scholarship application. I won it, too... hehe

Eragon was a longer book so you would have more to read then Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, also I enjoy the writing in it more

Harry Potter. Partly because I've read Eragon and have not read HP. But mostly, because if Eragon were the ONLY choice, I would not bother reading it again.

Harry Potter and his friends would be my companions. I wouldn't burn it even after I was finished - I'd look for other sources to burn. Who knows? I might end up using the margins in the book to record my own diary of my stay in the cave (if I can figure out something to write with.)

I already read both of them. But I would read Eragon because its longer and I've already read Harry Potter 1 like ten times. But I would read both of them if i could! :)

I would read neither.
I'd use them to keep the fire burning in my cave, so I'd have heat, light and could cook some decent meals. Then, I'd take some log from the fire and use it as a signal flare so that some passing ship would come rescue me from this lonely cave.
