I read a book similar in style to Tom Clancy. It was about a group of undercover operatives that travel the world performing various spy/clandestine operations for payment, but I cannot remember the author. The group travels on what appears to be an old, rusted fishing boat but is actually a high-tech vessel. Does anyone know the name of this author?

I have to do a 3-6 minute speech on any American Historical event ranging from 1800-1877. If you know any, please give me an example because I'm not good at sorting through this kind of stuff myself. It can't be something like "The Civil War" or whatever, it has to be one single, solitary event. Any help would be appreciated. It can also be on a person, too.

I really don't know what i want to do with my life and I have been talking to some close friends about ideas, and they ask if I want to do these things for the "right" reasons. I am so confused by this, that i no longer know what are the "right" reasons. Could you help me out?

I read it as a little kid (elementary school). I could have been called "Inside my Feet." I can't remember. I've been looking for this book for years.

It was about a family who was being terrorized. Everynight there would be a knock at the door. They would open the door and there would be a pair of boots there. Eventually the family was one by one taken away.
Does this ring a bell with anybody.

Hi everybody, I just need your help. Does anyone know what kind of printers, ink and paper should I get for making my own digital photo lab? I'm a freelance photographer and i want to print and sell photos at the same time. I would like to open a small section of studio so again i need my own printer for developing the photos. Also, I wanted to make calendars and postcards, which i have no idea about kinds of papers i should use. Maybe these printers are expensive, but i dont mind that. If anybody has an advice plz dont hesitate in replying me. Thanx a lot. Bye :)

Saw the film when it came out but just got round to reading the book. It is wonderful, descriptions of the countryside in Carolina make me want to visit there . All the descriptions of nature, farming etc are what is missing from the film. I couldn't put it down, loved it.
