It's not that time is imaginary, it's abstract, manmade. Time is not a mountain, river, car, tree or animal we can see and touch. It is not a distant planet or star we can theorize is there because of the behavior of another star. It is a man-made convention we use to schedule our lives and make our existence more orderly and make more sense. It has been along time since I read this book, so i cannot remember exactly how Crichton's time travel theory goes, but it's all science fiction anyway. Good story, though.

Time is a confidence trick invented by the Swiss. We neither know it touch it or experience it as we are linear beings.

alright to make certain which positioned up is older or more moderen then the different one, seem on the line that separates them. The positioned up are enormous speack bubbles, the little triangle ingredient is next to a dot on the line that sperates them, the dot 1st shows the first one etc.
