After watching the View for a few minutes today, I was reminded of this old saying. There seem to be plenty of old fools that host the View.

It is true because by the time one is old(er) one should know better!

Well they say a fool only fool themselves. That much is evident and has nothing to do with age.

Besides, most things seem foolish to young people. Mark my words when I say the day will come when you utter the words "My God I sound just like my mother/father."

The View is all about ratings. It's their job to make you go "eew" etc. They feed off all the crap and sadly society loves to suck it all up too.

And yes Temple I must say that I do agree with you on that one.

However there's a difference between being gullible and being a fool. A fool usually makes an *** of themselves intentionally.

Well... the old sayings usually have merit

... but as for the View...all of those women are idiots, fools, nincompoops, moronss, imbeciles, jackasses, nitwits, ding-dongs, mooncalfs, goobers, cretins, schmos, jerks, schmucks, meatheads....

I think that if you surround yourself by stupid (Barbara), stupid just starts to stick, like dog poop in the crevacices of your shoe... You just can't wash that crap off...

That is a contradiction. Whenever older, more experienced people act like fools, they merely get close to the behavior of young people. The adage is as stupid as saying that there is no paralyzed person like a lazy person who acts as if he were paralyzed.

Which is more foolish? Letting an old fool talk or getting upset about it?

No, a fool is a fool, regardless of age.
