Throw onto a fire.
I like most books, but Merchant of Venice I hated and I would love to see a warm fire surrounding it and burning each page.

I was given the original version of pocahontas to read by my English teacher, I had to hide it from my mum - its actually really pervy and he should not have given it to me to read!!!

i read a lot of shakespeare - macbeth, merchant of venice and romeo & juliet, luckily i was spared from having to read Hamlet. I also read DH Lawrence - thats a good read if you can get into it. A really good one for english id A Brave new World by Aldous Huxley, i loved it. And i also got to read some ray Bradbury which is a great start for all Sci-Fi/futuristic book fans out there.

I actually loved Merchant of Venice. Perhaps I got a better teacher who also showed us the film which was pretty good. We also red Robinson Crusoe which I enjoyed and Gulliver's Travels which I didn't.

My lit teacher had us read "Cry The Beloved Country", I think the author's name was Alan Payton (?). It was a great book, it really opened my eyes not just to the problems of Africa but to the greatness possible in literature. I HATED "Heart of Darkness" however. And "The Jungle" by Upton Sinclair ought to be a must read for everybody. There is a lot of anti-union, anti-health regulation conservative b.s. going down these days and "The Jungle" will show you in very graphic detail why unions and health regulations are absolutely necessary.

I read alot of Shakespeare, however, I also read Farhenheit 451 and The Chocolate Wars, both of which I thought were very good.

The book I hated the most was my Business Law book in college!

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte is the one that comes to mind, only because I hated it. That's the problem with formal education. It teaches kids how to hate books. I never enjoyed reading until I left school.
