Fortune teller, gypsy, or belly dance accessories are pretty much interchangeable and can be found at any costume store or in the Halloween sections of department stores (once they start stocking them after the Back to School sales end early September). As to the ball, maybe an inverted fish bowl or vase, perhaps a large clear-ish play bouncy ball (often seen in large bins at Walmart and the like), or even an inflated balloon might work.

If you cant find anything, be sure to look on ebay.
They have all kinds of things pertaining to the occult for very reasonable prices.
You can pay with a credit card if you worry about being ripped off.
Sounds like this birthday party is going to be one that ALL of the kids remember. I hope it is a blast!
