I read a book similar in style to Tom Clancy. It was about a group of undercover operatives that travel the world performing various spy/clandestine operations for payment, but I cannot remember the author. The group travels on what appears to be an old, rusted fishing boat but is actually a high-tech vessel. Does anyone know the name of this author?

There are a few titles. The series is called "The Oregon Files" by Clive Cussler and a co-writer. Fun books, all of Cusslers are.

Lovecraft Ray Bradbury (Something Wicked this Way Comes especially) Ramsey Campbell (Nazareth Hill) James Herbert Ira Levin Edgar Allen Poe Bram Stoker Peter Straub (he's collaborated with Stephen King on novels too)
