I'm not sure if you are meaning why do people want just a mere glimpse of God, or why do people seek just a glimpse of God? If it's the former I would think they need to know there is goodness and help if just for that moment they find that glimpse. If it is the latter my thinking is they know they couldnt go on living the way they are living if they saw more than a glimpse.

I think we are all brought up in an atmosphere where , however strong faith might be , we are still looking for some proof to believe in something 100%.No doubt many believe in God with intense faith. Still they are long for some telltale proof from God to be sure.

One of the reasons why Godmen are drawing more and more crowd these days is the fact that in these Godmen ( called Avtars) the people are able to see in flesh and blood God that they can relate to.

In the absence of a glimpse of God the people are content with seeing Godliness in some people .

I think most people would settle for a mere glimpse but they would probably like more.

Because people want to be sure by nature. Faith isnt easy for some people. People dont like being left in the dark. People yearn to be as rational as possible. So they want a "Sign" or to actually see him with thier own eyes. For me... i dont know if I really want to deal with the "Faith" issue. I feel a little like I should act a little more logical than that.

Take for example if the world was flat. Nobody has ever seen where the world ends... so do I logically take it on faith that it is based on books that other people have written? Im sorry... my nature is to question. But im getting off onto a different topic - my appologies. The point is... faith contradicts logic... Faith is a desision a human makes for themselves. I think it would be easier to know for sure... and never have to doubt myself.

I want more than a glimpse and believe I will see my Heavenly Father someday. Of all the places I'd like to visit, His throneroom is at the top of the list.

We always want something, even a glimpse of God.

I wonder if we'll stop wanting once we get it. Or maybe that's why we don't get it, because then we'll stop wanting(die).

Because, how can one be here and not want something? This seems impossible because we always want something; which is the very core of this life; desire. We want it all and we want it now!0! We are here because we want to be here in the first place...lol...Or maybe not.

This has no end...we always want something, even if it is not to want. Mr. Ego...What are going to do about you?

We all want to see god because we dont have a fair idea of who he is. Just think about it we like to see things that we havent seen before....

We all should realise that god is energy, a presence and the creator. He cannot be quantified into a object that can be seen. You can be connected to him and feel his presence.

Because they are deluded into believing it will change their life. Who knows, maybe it does. But you ever meet someone who's met god?
