I have a very old signed original painting of some sort. It almost looks like tiny pencil marks. It is a muted colored scene of a canal and some buildings. It is 8x10 and the artist has written "The Canal" on the lower left side and signed the lower right side. What I am trying to find out is the artist name as I cannot read all of it but it looks like it starts with Zudi..and then mabe an m. I would love to know the artist name and any other information anyone might have.

In the past we have been highly social with those that we lived near. I know it was mostly for a means of survival, but shouldn't we as human beings desire to be closer to other human beings?
