I am filming a movie for a contest and have 10 days (from 1/20/06) to get the right actor for someone reporting at a newsdesk. How can I tell who the right actor for the part is. Give some personality traits that someone might have or something like that.

In today's society, reading is frowned upon. I ask the question why?

If you dislike reading, say so. There is no need to be shy- I value your opinion as much as my own.

Does it help if you would like to get into professional acting? If you did community theatre as a child, like I did?

For example, if we gather enough people to fill the MADISON SQUARE GARDEN or the SUPERDOME, and let everyone sing the Star Spangled Banner altogether… we will hear a kinda nice melody of this song…

BUT… if we separate those people one by one, and ask only one person per turn to sing… we’ll get lots of awful and dreadful singer there (I guarantee that we’ll hear many sing off-key or out of tune! Ever watch American Idol show? If you do, you’ll understand what I mean here) Why? What makes most (NOT ALL!!) people sing better collectively than individually?

PS: Few people are exceptional of course! They are the talented one, and they surely can sing better, above average. But my point here is the majority: the below average one.

The fantasy genre has definately become a favorite category for me to read and write about. The best thing about it is that you have no set rules to follow. It's your own story and anything goes.
After reading many fantasy books and playing fantasy games, I was curious about how much research they put into an animal. Some authors may create their own rules to the magical animal, while it looks like others have gone to fictional history books like Tolkein with Lord of the Rings, who have elves and dwarves with their own culture including language.
Either way, opinions?

i bought a charity card (the karen keating foundation) but the back of the card said only 7% of sales go to the charity,
it seems a bit of a con because the public beleive they are giving to charitys but most of it doesnt even go there, seems to b a bit of con really.

He has tons of notebooks full of poems. They're about every up and down in life. We don't want to spend a ton of money but I feel his writing has a lot of potential.

I've found a lot of places that teach Salsa, but no clubs to actually go and dance at. The closest place I've seen is in Boston, MA.

Ok, so my boyfriend of three months (not even three months) who I've only known 1 and a 1/2 years (not even one and a half years) told me "I love you" on the phone. We're only seventeen! How is it even possible he means that. Short answer: He's a misguided youth. I haven't said anything to him, because I don't love him. I don't know anything about love and I don't think of him as the kind of boy who would just say it, but all the same, he is a boy. So what do you think I should do, because I seriously don't want to have to confront him, but that doesn't leave me with much else.

There would be less of a conspiracy.Who let Jack Ruby in the Dallas Police Station to shoot LHO?Who put LHO's bullet in the hospital and why.Why did John Lester Quigley destroy the notes he made after he interviewed LHO and why bother writing down notes if it wasn't important. If you people believe he acted alone then why do witnesses claim they saw gunpowder coming from the glassy knoll. Why did the government clean the president's car after he was killed. Why was JFK's brother assassinated if his brother's death isn't a conspiracy? Why were the two kennedy''s killed, who benefits from them being killed and who would have the power and resources and skills to take them out without anyone stopping them from getting to close to them. Why was the person who was in charge of increasing security for JFK assinged to go to the South Pole which lead to having no snipers on rooftops and no security around buildings near by?
