I did not, but there are so many good books about alchemy, so why worry about fables and dreams ? Don't forget alchemy's purpose was to transmute metals in gold, philosophically speaking, exactly as masonry wants to make a polished stone from a raw one (YOU).

Yes, I've read it. It's genious!
There are two levels. If you are an expert reader you understand all the symbols and the allegory of the book. If you are not an expert, you can enjoy it as a long fairy tale.

Of course this is just my own subjective viewpoint, so don't let it put you off, but it's one of the worst books I have ever read. I'd give you the reasons why, but once I got started I wouldn't be able to stop and I'd be here all night.
