What do you think of "love is friendship"?

Think about it...if your love can't be friends with you, then what can he/she be?...

Agree or disagree...and why? && have you ever thought of this statement before?

its absolutely true
friendship is trust, and love is trust

Love is seen in so many ways. As friendship? Of course! For most adult or mature people this is a known fact. However, many people use love like a drug and when the high is over, they go looking for their next hit.
Friendship takes nurturing and time, ingredients that produce love.

Well, I must say that this saying is a new one to me.

I think the saying is compeletely erroneous. 'love' and 'friendship' are two different words which represent two entirely different ideas, or why else would there be separate words?

'is' is more or less the equivalent of an equal sign, and that quite obviously cannot be true in this case.

I agree, because you can't have real friendship without love.
I thought about this statement when I was your age, accepted it for what it was and moved on.
It only gets better.

I think someone tried to make love but it didn't workout the way planned so he reapproached it with a different name.

It's not so easy. Not every friend you can love as a partner.
