I wrote over hundreds of pages of a story on my computer, checked for grammar, and have already taken english courses at univ. and want this to get published into a book, how can i go about doing this?

I am writitng a book and i was wondering if anyone has any informaiton on what is the next step once the book is finish. I am concerned about finding a publisher, and gettign the book out there. I guess it would help if you have written a book or you know someone who has, a website would be helpful but i would rather hear it out of the horses mouth. I love hearing other people experiences rather than reading about it.

my last name is shadid, but no one can ever pronounce it correctly

i'll get shadid (with the a like in cat), shadeed, shaydeed, and it really is shaded

so any ideas would be great!

Like how does jack london's influence his book Call of the Wild and White Fang??? IT would be help ful if u gave me names of books, how it affected his like and links!

Like the books snark i was reading on some website it said he wrote it because he built a book called "snark" and sailed it to the South Pacific is this true?

I'm making a pop-up book in history about different people and countries and one of them is Austria. In my book it is talking about the thirty years' war and then talks about Austria so I can't tell if Austria is just in there by it or if Austria was involved in the war.

Both types of knowledge have been necessary to grow and develop as a human being, but that gained from personal experience has had a more profound and lasting effect on me.

I've got loads of info on my father's maternal line and my grandfather's maternal line but is paternal line is hard for me to trace. Thomas Jefferson Reed was evidently born in or near Coshocton Ohio and moved to Massillon Ohio. His son, Thomas Franklin Reed, was an ENT doctor until his death in 1921 in Massillon. My father Thomas Kenyon Reed lived in Massillon all his life and was a dentist there. Can anyone give me a push in the right direction?
