sometime this year. Rumors say July 7th which is a saturday as was the day of previously released books

Harry Potter 7 will be released July 7, 2007

There has been a lot of speculation that it will come out 7/7/07, but that would be a publishing nightmare because the fifth movie comes out 7/13 so I don't think that J.K. would want that. Besides the books usually come out during summer so more kids could read them. It would be a miracle to release it this summer but it needs to be finished (shes not done) and it needs to have atleast 6 months so the publishing house can edit, etc. I speculate no time this yr. But we can only guess...

A release date has not been anounced. For Half Blood Prince it took aproximately a year from the day JKR gave the title of the book to the actual release.

The release date for the seventh book is 07/07/07.

I believe it's going to be sometime in mid summer-late June,early July. I wait with bated breath! Although I read sometime back that JK Rowling was having some difficulting wrapping it up. You've got to sympathize with her, only a few million people are waiting!

I think its coming out the same week that the new movie is coming out also which will be around July 13 I think of this year. So I'm excited!
