Throughout the last year, I've read some works in Existentialist literature such as Nausea by Sartre; The Stranger, and The Fall by Albert Camus. Can anyone give me some further suggestions on Existentialist literature? Any recent European authors?

I'm in creative industry, animation art and im just started. As you know in this area: fresh, original, and brilliant ideas are very essential. Sometimes i may feel that i lack of creativity and ideas, it depends on my mood anyways. I'd be glad if you want to share with me, how to build creativity, be more inspired. what i know is that i need to be observant, read more, and such. You have anymore tips? thanks

Before i go deeper into the question, let's first state the following things, to prevent discussion about God, evolution theory and science. It's a thought-experiment so it doesn't need to be factual.

OK, lets state that:

1. Its 2907
2. Evolution theory is real and accepted
3. We have created a device that can create 2 other universes, but causing the destruction of our own.
4. Scientists and philosophers agree that the meaning of life is: To create two universes and take survival of the fittest to a universal scale.
5. When the universes are created ours is destroyed, but the two new will be filled with human dna, so that our species will thrive in two universes
6. String theory (and thus multiple universes are real)

Ok then, the questions are:
I: Could the meaning of life be a godlike creation of new universes?
II: would anyone want this?
III: Can survival of the fittest be a intergalactic issue?

A lot of reading, but I'm interested in your answers!

He immegrated to the U.S. in the 1920's but I can't seem to find that record either. Did they have to show a birth certificate to come into the U.S. from another country during that time period?

Vater effect,(incorrectly spelled) Vater was a german author, wrote a book, and then commited suicide,....soon his book was published, those who read it it, too killed themselves, so they banned any more printing of that book. The years were perhaps those in the 1800"s or late 1700"s.
The title of that book was what drove me here today,... all I can hand you is words that sound like that title of the book. "Thesaurous of vater" uhm,.. something like that. But in modern times we have a word for when some one (blank) then commits suicide, perhaps by influence I don"t know, and we call it the "Vater" (misspelled) effect. Thank you for your help

To kill a couple of the common reccommendations: I have already read Eragon/Eldest, Harry Potter, and Twilight/New Moon.

O.k. so this is a very free verse type of poem... no iambs, at least not intentionally... just want to know what you think..?

The Coming...

An excitement masked by clouds,
sweet but not yet here,
anticipated with the air of uncertainty,
foreseen but not fulfilled,
like the message of good news
which only the messenger keeps
closed in his heart,
yet running, rushing towards bursting
of the inner hidden bloom.
The light one of a constant dawn
or dusk
for that matter.
A time of twilight;
the perfect mood.
Not dead but not yet born either.
The peak of potential.
Fulfillment or doom.

That this is not the case is a common assertion. Has this always been true? I would like the answers to have a global perspective, across civilizations, cultures and historical eras. You may subdivide your answers in two, both giving the word "democracy" the restrictive meaning of "parliamentary liberal democracy with political parties", and giving the word "democracy" other much wider and relative meanings.

I'm doing an art project. The customer wants earth tones, but not "flat" colors like brown. I get the feeling a dark green wouldn't go over well either since its also a dull color. What Earth tones are there to use that arent "flat"?
