No true English woman would ever do such a thing. I believe you may be confusing these most perfect specimens of womanhood with those from the Celtic fringes, for whom a good fart is the only education they need.

Its manners to say Pardon me or excuse me, but we are all to blame for vulgarities, like "More Tea Vicar!" or "Dawn chorus on its way" or I need to go drop the kids off at the pool, or my personal favourite, Yes it is a challenge!

i dont know but i dont think that a posh english woman would even 'pass gas' in public. lol if she did though i spose she would say 'exscuse me' or 'pardon me'
