"The love of money is the root of all evil"

Having it isn't evil; letting money be the be-all, end-all of your life is. It's a necessary tool, but that's all - it's just a tool. Life is about each other, how we relate to others, and what we can positively impact in the short time alloted to us.

No one ever "OWNS" money, and to worship it as a deity or icon seems a bit of a waste of time. That said however we can't strictly SPEND GOD either.

Money need not even be explained in the oh so tired cliche about it being related to the root of evil.

With no real offense meant, I suspect, had the points you spent asking this, were equal to a fortune you might have been more frugal, or offered more.

I have a Q however. WHY does LIFE have to be ABOUT anything?

Life's not about either. Its about enjoying, living, loving, learning, and being. Money, making it or spending it is just a small part of life.

Erm...that's a bit of an arbitrary choice is it not?

There is more to life than money Kenneth.

Life is about living. Doing what makes you comfortable. To reduce it to just making or using arbitrary credits created by man for man is a bit limiting.

Kenneth, I hope you're not serious. Life is not about money at all. It's about communication with others and nature and personal beliefs. It's about doing good things for others because you are a good person, and not because someone pays you to do it. You need to take a real hard look at yourself if you are serious about this question-you'd have to be terribly shallow to think life is all about money...

why must we always value our life by asking how much we have in our pockets........ true, money is a means to obtain what you need to have...what need to want and desire.. but in my eyes , it is not and should not be an end to a means of life.... Kenneth if you have the means to having money and to spend.. make it so but let it not be the value of your life..... of your reason to be here.

LIFE IS ABOUT EARNING MONEY AND SPENDING MONEY PURPOSEFULLY by the way life is more than that, life is about love, living honestly, doing good and respect others' viewpoints and property also.
