How can I make my dance moves sharper?

It is all in your mind. Every move is supposed to have an intention. Make that intention more apparent and clear. For example, if you are pointing your foot - don't just sretch your toe, but decide where is that point in space where you are pointing.

Dancing is a good workout see you later because it will advance your heart price, almost all dancing will do this. It's all about technique. Put some attitude in it. You have to know the steps really well first though, then you can put your effort into how to do the step instead of just memorizing what the step is. Focus on the beat too so you can hit every step at the right second. Practice practice practice!

I actually made my kicks and flicks sharper in my Jive by walking on my toes to feel what it really is to stretch the toe and foot. If you do this, please be careful. I can completely walk on my toes, but others may not, so respect what you can and can't do.
