I'm in creative industry, animation art and im just started. As you know in this area: fresh, original, and brilliant ideas are very essential. Sometimes i may feel that i lack of creativity and ideas, it depends on my mood anyways. I'd be glad if you want to share with me, how to build creativity, be more inspired. what i know is that i need to be observant, read more, and such. You have anymore tips? thanks

In art, it always helps to emerse yourself in the environment, and not to concentrate too hard to being what you expect to be. Most artists feel exactly the same way you do from time to time.
Reading is good, but art is not academic, regardless how many people try to convince you that one genre is or another one is. And even though some ideas are called "brilliant", mediocrity is usually what becomes more popular. A great creator doesn't go over people's heads, but he doesn't regurgitate the same cliche's in a way that is predictable either.
Social stimulation helps, even for folks who are shy. People will inspire you to develop scenarios by watching and experiencing their own behaviour.

Research.
Almost all acts of creativity are referencing other elements of the creative aspect.
If you are in animation, then look at (and research) other historical and cultural elements that are kindred arts. Art-Deco influenced architecture AND the original superman comics. The Beatles influenced the Anime comix.
Film Noir, Anime, R. Crumb, Sin City, .... and even research the broader themes of Hero, Archetypes and the Ancient Gods and the Classic Tales.
It's visual and yet it's also elemental. Once you have avenues of interest then they will fuel your creative needs.
Keep drawing!

i think the most important things are to be more observant, and more resourceful. Work with the stuff you have- even the most lacking things have a special quality. Observance helps you find things that make things look the way they are- find out what makes it look good and what makes it look bad. Sometimes even i think i can make somethign better than whats in the museums... I get all my inspiration from the things around me- for example if i see a plant i dram something with circles on it to stand for leaves.
I found this great website- funny, too. Some of the things might not be the greatest, but check it out: http://www.gapingvoid.com/Moveable_Type/archives/000932.html

For me, I usually try and draw things around me as much as I can. I also look at older works from artists I admire and re-discover other artists. Also, I talk to other artists about what they think of whatever subject I'm interested in, and I write their thoughts down in my sketchbook. I also write things down on how I feel about a certain subject or piece that I'm looking at.
