I live on the west side of Los Angeles, and I am looking for some studio space for painting. I have tried craigslist and random google searching, but I haven't found anything in my area! A share situation would be ok as well as a private space. Any suggestions?

Hasn't anyone else wondered if this is our punishment for things we did in another life, if this is the hell we try not to have to go to.The way i see it is that the only people who are happy here are the ones that succumb to their demons. The happy ones are the people who rule the world and the ones who ignore it.There are no miracles there is no help so what makes people think that we are here for a purpose. Don't even try that "we're here to worship god" stuff if this world has a purpose it's to help us not him

For instance New England has a seafaring tradition (whaling, fishing, yachting, etc), a literary tradition (Emerson, Hawthorne, Thoreau, Dickenson, Longfellow, etc), a school of cooking (lobster, oyster stew, clam chowder, Yankee pot roast, etc), architecture (Saltbox, Georgian, Federal, Greek Revival, etc).
The South also has a seafaring tradition, a literary tradition, a school of cooking, architecture, and great music (blues, dixeland, jazz, country). What does the Midwest have beside farming?

I don't know many people who will be willing to "act" with me and let me videotape it, and all I have is myself, the Internet, and a videocamera. Do you think I would get anything out of simply acting in front of the camera? After having memorized lines from scenes and trying to realistically portray that character? Or will it be useless because it will just be me in front of the camera, and I wont have any interaction with anyone else? What can I do to sharpen my skills? What do you amateur actors out there do? Thank you :)

What is the correct way to write the 2 sentences below?

1st QUESTION:
After dialog, do you always have to say Michael said or said Michael or Michael implored, to indicate which character made the statement or can you leave it as I have below?

2nd QUESTION:
If you want to indicate a sound such as "BADoom…crack" in the middle of dialog, how do you write it? In quotes within the quote? In parenthesis, within the quote?

DIALOG:
“Listen to me. I will follow once you’re safe, (BADoom…crack) but I can’t do that if you don’t go NOW!” Seeing the look of stark terror in her eyes, Michael lowered his voice.

Like Darkness:

A world of killing and blood spilling
Is what we have brought ourselves
A perfect place this is far from
And so few choose to push on
With demons cluttering around
And hope seeming so far away
What choice can make
Other than pass away?

A Light there is, at the end of tunnel
But the Tunnel of Life is far from short
It curves and swerves and never goes down
The king of challenges this one is
And few can make it through
But with His help and a bit of hope
We all will make it there

I'm only 16 so I know my voice is not fully mature yet but I want to sound my best when I get up there on stage...my pounding heart (when I'm nervous) interferes with my vibrato a little and I want to do something that will really help my voice when I sing in front of everyone (and my nervousness too!).
