I need as much information as I can get about John Locke and his philosophies. Give me the source you used or a good source I could use.

Also, why does their flag closely resemble the U.S. flag? I would think the Liberians would be insulted the close resemblance.

The street is right off of Broadway. Its got tons of scripts and duets and monologues. Looks like a small independently owned store- nothing like Barnes and Noble or anything.

I'm reviewing for a class that I am going to have to take and I wanted to pick your brain about the important writers that spread over the Elizabethan era to the Neoclassical era. I'm going to try to do some additional research so that when the professor alludes to another text I'm not 100% lost. I have read almost everything of Shakespeare so I don't really need any info on him. I hate that guy Christopher Marlow (Homoeroticism isn't something that I really enjoy reading about). Anyone have some must reads drop me a line please. Thanks

I have never danced before, well ballet when I was 5, but nothing since then. I thought about salsa, but I think of that as a sexy dance, and I'm a very shy person. I'm not too unco-ordinated, but I'd like an easy type of dance to start out with. I'd like to also improve my fitness level through dancing, but I'm not very fit, so I'd like a dance style that will not be too strenuous, but also challenging. Does anyone have any ideas of what type of dancing I should do? I don't think ballroom is my style though, although I'm open-minded about it. The rumba looks like a fun dance, but would a Latin dance not be right for an introverted person? Thanks for any answers.

I just started a belly dance class and LOVE it!!
Found that even tho i have much more to learn, seem to be pretty good at it from the start, even tho I'm a beginner.
It's been so much fun, but kind of a shy person socially. Was wondering if most dancers are fun to be around in general, used to being by myself/trying to break outta my shell!
There's other's who are beginners like me, but so many that are very experienced.
My goal is to be in a local performance just for fun, but hopefully look as good or almost as great as the other more experienced dancers w/out feeling intimidated. Any helpful hints how I can achieve this? KNow I need to practice a lot to get to where I want to be. :o)
Thanks

Well, I suppose I'm in the "young adult" category (I'm 16) ... but I usually read adult books. I haven't really read anything in a while, outside of required reading for school, and right now I just need a good book to read for fun. Any recommendations anyone has would be great. I don't care if it's fiction or nonfiction, but no heavy romances, please.

Old Mother Hubbard
Went to the cupboard
To fetch her poor dog a bone;
But when she came there
The cupboard was bare,
And so the poor dog had none.
She took a clean dish
To get him some tripe;
But when she came back
He was smoking a pipe.
She went to the grocer's
To buy him some fruit;
But when she came back
He was playing the flute.

She went to the baker's
To buy him some bread;
But when she came back
The poor dog was dead.

She went to the undertaker's
To buy him a coffin;
But when she came back
The poor dog was laughing.

She went to the hatter's
To buy him a hat;
But when she came back
He was feeding the cat.

The dame made a curtsey,
The dog made a bow;
The dame said, "Your servant."
The dog said, "Bow wow!"

By gosh this book has everything. Probably the best book I've ever read. Thanks for the person recommending me to read this brilliant book, otherwise I would be missing out on a great deal. Has all the twists and turns and just when you think the expected is going to happen, it goes it a totally different direction. Must read it.
