been kicked out of stores for?

that's hiliarious.

I got kicked out of a bar once because I refused to pay this guy $5 because I pointed at a turtle. (I swear on a bible, fiction or non-fiction section, that every word of that sentence is true.)

I've also been kicked out of a Denny's because I curled my legs up and put my feet on the seat next to me (common in booths for me cuz' I'm really short.)

I had an employee at a Swains art supply store accuse me of trying to shoplift because I picked up a broken package of modeling clay and poked the exposed clay to test the consistensy. Similarly, I complained about a broken dress belt in a Macy's (it was the last one so I still wanted to get it) and I was accused of breaking it in order to get a discount. Both times (and this happens a lot to me) it seemed to be places where the employees thought I was a teenager and were talking down to me. (I am 5'0" tall and get taken for 16 all the time, plus I'm usually wearing scuffy jeans and t-shirts if I don't have to go anywhere special.)

oh, and I've also been refused admission to plenty of bars (or had restaurants/grocery stores/convenience stores refuse sales to me) because they didn't believe my ID was real. (it is.)

It is understandable that they would kick you out. You created alot more work for them as well as probably offended some of their patrons. Even if you don't beleive that the Bible is truth doesn't mean that you have the right to ridicule someone else's beleifs by demeaning their sacred book. Your actions are deplorable and you deserved alot more than you got so be glad you only got kicked out of the store. My best friend who is a confirmed agnostic told me about this question and had me look at it... he was too upset to comment himself....It's intolerance like this that create such issues between people of different faiths... how old are you anyway???? 14??????

When I was young, I got kicked out of a Five and Dime (Newberry's) for wearing roller skates in the store and skating around.

Well, you DESERVED to get kicked out. Whether or not you believe it or not is beside the point. Someone else does, therefore, it does not make it fiction. You didn't move the other things that were in Religion and Philosophy, did you?

I've never gotten kicked out of a place of business. I ran my own business for ten years. I don't want someone breaking my rules, therefore I won't break theirs.

You could have been less conspicuous, my friend!
Stealth is very important in these matters.

I never got caught at this and, cripes!, it's been 30 years, but ...

My big, teenage idiocy was planting Black Cat time bombs in the laundry mat across the street from my cousin's. We'd sit in the living room with binoculars and watch people jump out of their skins.
Bang Bitty Bang Bang !!!
Paper confetti flying everywhere.

The absolute stupidity of youth. We were very lucky, no one got hurt.
