A child asked her grandmother to tell her friends about the supertitious surrounding the black cat. The grandmother asked, what story? And she said, "The black cat."

Frankly speaking I've translated word by word and tried to respect the meaning but I've not completely understood the sense (and mainly the last sentence of the child).
