It's another way of saying "What goes around comes around." People who hurt others, in the long run, get hurt themselves.

Im deperatly trying to find the name of the painting or the artist who painted a very famous picture. It was very popular in the 60's and 70's. Its of a woman, who is rather oriental looking. She has been painted with a blue face and very red lips and she is wearing a gold detailed top. The whole painting is quite dark
If anyone could help me i would be eternally grateful!!!

I recieved an email telling me that I had posted an insulting answer, which is a matter of opinion.

Isn't this site 90% opinion?

I love the idea of this site, but I didn't realize the site was called "Answers We Like."

But hold on!!! There are so many illiterate, unthinking, ignorant and insulting answers posted, why bother picking out a few to sensor?

Can we sanitize all of existence and should we be trying?

Personally, I find many of the responses of condescending bible bashers insulting, but I deal with it.

I think people who use the site to cheat on homework are commitiing a greater sin than anyone merely expressing their opinion. Wasn't the internet supposed to be a bastion of free speech?

A place where we could have a free market of ideas? I will read the answers to this question, but then I think my boycott of this site will begin.

I'm trying to get more involved in street photography/ candid shots, and I was wondering: can I take pictures of people without their permission? i mean if they're on the street or something, not in their houses or, say, the toilet. I know in many cases it's more polite, but I mean legally/ ethically...

Plato made a distinction between two forms of arguement. On the one hand he described a form of arguement where both parties respectively hold the positions of thesis and antithesis and through a joint effort resolved the apparent differences in their positions by moving to a synthesis. This style of arguement he called dialectic.

He contrasted this style of arguement favourably with another form for which I cannot remember and cannot find the name for. But the disfavoured form of arguement consisted of two parties establishing a difference of opinion and then setting about discovering who was correct and who was incorrect.

Please help.
