Some of Stephen King's writing has religious references, mostly christian. Do we know what type of Christian he is? Any help would be great! Thanks!

I did 2 papers on him for school. One at middle school level (to impress my teacher) and one at the college level. I have been reading his work for over 20 years. I read Danse Macabre (his auto biography). I have never read anywhere about any religious affiliation he may have. Either he's not religious, or he's keeping that part of his life close to the vest.
