I may be overthinking a very simple thing, but...

In the book, when Dr. Edwards is explaining Tony (Danny's imaginary friend) to Mr. and Mrs. Torrance he said:

"And of course you two must understand why Danny's invisible friend is named Tony instead of Mike or Hal or Dutch."
"yes" Wendy said.
"Have you ever pointed it out to him?"
"No" Jack said, "Should we?"
"Why bother? Let him figure it out in his own time, by his own logic."

I looked through the previous chapters and I don't know what they're talking about. Is it because "Tony" sounds more like "Danny" than the other names?

I am auditioning for Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella at the end of May, and I would like suggestions for songs to sing that are not from the show. I plan to audition for the part of one of the stepsisters, so I would like a song that fits those characters. I am a mezzo-soprano. the audition for this show is going to be right after performing in Miss Saigon, so I would like to start looking for songs now. Thanks for all of your help. Also information on obtaining sheet music will also be helpful.

I am frustrated with how slow oil paints dry....and I do not have a quick drying medium. I am painting on a medium sized canvas. I would like to paint a yellowish sun over a turquoise heart that has already been laid down. How do I do this without producing a yellow green mess?

I use to belive that somethings are just meant to be but now I believe in that less.You cant just sit on you couch at home and wait for the love of your life to come knocking on your door with a paycheck everyweek.If things were planned out for us then why are we faced with choices and big decisions?Which leads me to ask why would there also be such a thing as regret if things were meant to be.Why do some of us live to be old while others die at birth,how is that meant to be?If your mom got hit by a car in front of you would you just stand there and wait for destiny to help her or would you get up and take her to the hospital?If you love something do you let it go and wait and see if it comes back or do you fight to keep it?We cant just sit around waiting for things to happen,we gotta make moves in our lives.What do you think?

here it goes.i had to do a project that i had to do with a partener and we had to memorize lines. at the end my teacher was gonna tape it. i had my lines down pat but when i got in front of the camara i totally forgot my lines i dont know what happened! all i could remember was 1 part that i kept asking over and ovree again.the worst part about it was that my teacher was going to show it on open house so every1 was gonna see it i was so embarrssed!!!

I am curious to know what happends to film that has been developed from any photo center but is not picked up? Is there a time period for which they keep those photos? What happends when they are not picked up? are they destroyed? thrown away? and can any person buy those photos that have been picked up even if they are not yours? Any help is appreciated!

I'm working on a monologue that I have to perform in 3 weeks time. The problem is, every time I rehearse it, I cannot gather enough emotion to get myself to cry. If I could get away with not crying, then I would do that, but the monologue specifically calls for it in the stage directions. Does anyone have any surefire techniques that help them cry at will?
