Don't be embaressed, it happens to everyone. Some people have a worse time with it than others. Did you try talking with your teacher? If you didn't I would suggest doing that, she might take the scene out or maybe even give you a chance to redo it.

There is an old actor ploy imgine all those in front of you naked (I leave socks on coz it makes them look even more silly and powerless!!!) That is the key. You have the power not them. You are the one with the guts to stand and perform not them.
This also helps avoid corsping when I did drama a LONG time ago I used to look at my tutor with distain so he ceased to be funny or even embarriassing when he tried to make us laugh.
Ask to take it again and use it to try this out. In fact do other stuff too. Get up in front of your family and do something; open mike a poem, something anyhting to get your self in front of people and you will learn when you have been given some one elses words and another character it is much easier than standing up as yourself. It does lend you a mask. Go for it!!!

I'm in the 7th grade and i use to get so nervous. But i took a creative writing class and to get up infront of people every week and present what i had written. of course i was nervous, but i got through it and know want to be a writer. You have just got to calm down take a deep breath and say i can do it to yourself. T ry to get up infront of people more often and it'll get easier. Trust me. And if you're not ready to do that yet, say a speech infront of your pets or stuffed animals, and then you can move onto your famil and friends. It'll get easier, so just do your best and be able to laugh at yourself if you do mess up, because you're not perfect andyou've got to realize that it's not the end of the world if you have a couple of slip ups.
