Mind = Matter

So knowing and being are the same thing, to reference DeCartes.

"I think, therefore I am."

No, seriously though, your being comes from millions upon millions of tiny little chemicals and neurotransmitters. Your existence is 100% biochemical--all your thoughts and actions--everything.

It's totally awesome if you ask me!

No it is Mind over Matter. And the two are combined then and only then. When the mind no longer rules the being of matter, then they are in a disconnected mode. It is like an involuntary stage, like when the body gets caught up in a feeling of pain the body is ruling the mind. There are many cases in study of the mind being trained to block out the feelings of pain in order to keep the order of mind over matter. Happy New Year

Actually Knowing is Being, Flesh is matter and a Mind suppose to be a tool through which Being operate in this world...But something went wrong.....Everything is connected but which way? That which you "feel" would be questionable..not a law

Connected, because if you screw with the physical matter in your mind it will change your knowing. Just try any of the mind-altering substances available in this world of ours for a demonstration for a quick change in what it is that you know.

Mind is a function of the brain.
Being is a state of the mind.

Parts of the brain contribute to our conscious experience.

The mind interprets experience;
That interpretation is Being.

Experience might be likened to a piece of sheet music.
How the musician plays that music might be likened to Being.

The experience might be outwardly the same;
but choice, innovation, disease, mood, memory, etc. allow plenty of room for novelty.

That novelty explains the uniqueness of Being.

As far as the superficial meaning of 'cognito ergo sum' (I think therefore I am) the exact nature of being is indeterminate.

Knowing and being are both mind in that context. If matter is accepted as being, it is only through mind that the belief is realized.
So they are definitely connected.

You cannot separate mind (knowing) from body (organic matter).

"The 'Mind' reseaches but can not obtain".(Upanishads) The mind is not created nor can it know Truth.
'Being' = Light which is 'matter' at its highest vibration.
1 out of 2 so you made 50 on your quiz.
