Remember Napoleon was Italian. Joan of Ark was a woman. Have French men got any, you know, nerve?

I've seen a few college websites quote their so called ranking like "one of top 20 music schools in the country", but I've actually found any rank lists on-line.
Also, I know Downbeat Magazine does rankings of Jazz programs, but I wasn't able to find them on thier website.
Thanks for any insight. Thanks.

Which do you prefer? Personally I prefer The Lord of the Rings, and I am really annoyed when Eragon fans say the book did not copy it. J.R.R. Tolkien was a literary genius. I did read Eragon, and after getting past the fact it was a rip-off ( Eragon=Aragorn?) it was a decent read. The movie sucked, though. So what do you think?

I have an idea to have a painting done for my husband but I have NO IDEA how to go about doing this, who to contact or how much it will cost. I'd like someone fimilar to Maryland so he/she understands what I want done. I dont know any artists and am not fimilar with the art world at all but I have this super idea that would be so touching to my husband. He lost his fav Grandfather and both his adopted father and biological father all in a few months this year and the painting I have in mind would represent all of them. I emailed a few gallerys that came up when I searched for easter shore art but no one has responded. I dont care about who the artist is as long as it a good painting (landscape/water) and is reasonably priced.
Can anyone help with pointing me in the right direction? I really do know where to go for this. Thanks in advance!

I have done a thousand things I thought to be just normal courtesy for any girl I saw who needed it (opening doors, defending a girl's honour, consoling a girl sitting alone with a depressed look on her face, etc.), and all I seem to hear is "Chivalry is not dead afterall." instead of a "Thank you". Ladies...any input?

That is, do you believe the information that you take in through sensory perception,[ i.e: what you see, hear, and feel] to be reality or could it all be a massive deception, much like what is portrayed in "The Matrix" for example.
