I really need some information about my family history, and my last name is Millsaps. Does anyone know how to find anything out about it? I've tried things like search engines, but I'm not coming up with anything. If anyone has any info on the history of the Millsaps family, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I'm from Russia, originally Russian, but write in English (which I've also been speaking all my life) and constantly "publish" my stuff on poetry sites. ok... so! i have my first audition coming up. for the directors- what kind of things do you look for in an auditioner? in their heashots? resumes?


Also, callbacks, whats the deal. i know what it is... but how should you behave...? if the charecter they have you read lines from has an accent, should you use the accent? any other things?

I will start my lessons after the Holidays so my teacher told me to practice until then, but I don't know how. I search questions on how to do this and I found this answer:

"One good way is to play a note on the piano, and sing it for as long as you can. Use the same note over and over again (start with a note like the middle C, which is neither high nor too low) for at least a week, before you go on to the next one. Yes, it's VERY boring, and sounds so simple, but you'll notice that you never quite seem to keep the same note in one go - your voice will sound like the ocean - waves all around! This will help train your vocal chords AND your ears, which also play a very important part in your singing."

Will this really help? I tried doing this for about twenty minutes and I fly off pitch when I hold the note.

I'm looking for a book I read many many years ago as a pre-teen probably about 30 years ago. Ugh! I believe there was a frog or toad and some other animals who traveled across the land in various forms of transportation, one of which was a hot air balloon.
