Submit a story to a tv show?

I have a friend who wants to submit a story/script to the SciFi channel. How do you do this?

Work through an agent with a connection to SciFi. Most TV networks, publishers, etc. will send back unsolicited material unopened, fearing a plagiarism suit.

Go to their web and see if they have any submission procedures. If they don't then find their address and mail the story to the production director for perusal and response.
