Yes, they are good.
If you don't have a digital camera with a zoom lens, you might want to ask for one as a gift sometime.
They are awesome to take pics!

Not bad.
Picture #1 Adjust your ISO to 100 or as low as it will go for bolder colors.
Picture #2 Pretty good considering you took it from a moving boat, try getting birds or maybe even the sun in the image.
Picture #3 ISO adjustment of 100 would have been better. If you have the software try straightening the image up so that the lighthouse is vertical...That location at night would be great (bring a friend/ parent & a tripod)
I'm never satisfied with my work no matter how great it is in the eyes of other people...I always think I can do better...Keep it up.

i liked the first one, the other two seemed rather plain in that those angles have been done to death. jazz up the pictures with some new angles of the items, new perspectives that people haven't seen or that magnify the symbol which it then can be interpreted to mean various ideas. aesthetically, the first one was well framed and balanced, i thought, and the colors were plentiful, was quite a fest for the eyes. i'm not a fan of the sea shot and the light house could have been framed better but overall you've got a knack, one that i wish i had time for and was decent at. keep at it and best of luck.

It's good to see your into making money at a young age. The sooner you start, the sooner you can retire. You should first get a job to experience the concept of working and getting paid for it then a couple of years later if you come up with a great idea, you can only try to see where it will get you. Good Luck!!

They aren't amazing, but if you say that these are some of your worst than I'd have to say you are pretty good for a 14 year old, without a lot of training I assume. You seem to have a good eye for spacign the subject of the picture, although these pictures feel more "remember a moment" than artistic expression. If you want my advice, get a black and white camera and try yoru hand aat more abstract things, but that's just my personal taste.

I think this is the first time I've ever agreed with a 14 yr old.
You are right - they are far from amazing. Unfortunately relatives and friends lie. Whether you are 14 - 5 - 21 - etc. My parents always told me I took great photographs growing up and now that I've gotten years of professional experience under my belt - i realized they lied to me. Those photos that they raved about truly sucked.

yes, you have a good eye for composition.
you should continue to pursue photography if that is your desire.
i am an artist and a bit of a shutterbug myself and i can deliver a scathing critique, but in this instance that is not necessary, the pictures you have shown me are quite good.
i would tell you otherwise if that were the case.

If you enjoy photography so much, take lots of pictures and take lots of lessons. Even the pros keep learning everyday.
